First I need to talk on how I view politic positioning. I think the square where you have on the left focus on social problems, right on the economic, Liberal and conservative on old values and new revolutions; it is not the best way to view politics, actually, this is how I see most Brazilians think of, but it is not only historically wrong, it is not fundamentally correct. It started in the past when it appeared in the French Revolution in 1789 with the members of the National Assembly divided between of the supporters of the previous regime in the right and the revolution in the left. But when we started talking about the Political Compass, which is the most famous way to talk about politics, where you define by the square: Left and Right for the Economic Axis and North and South Axis for the Sovereign of the State, as Authoritarian and Libertarian. But in my own personal studies and deep thinking I still believe it does not encompass much of the reality. So here is my opinion, I present you the Political Biparamyd (or Political Prism, as I prefer):

So here is my thinking, you cannot measure morality against authority. In the same way that the Political Compass insert the X Axis as the Economical which is simple: Do you value more to share the enrichments or you value the individual to get rich by himself? The Y Axis, the Morals; are you satisfied with the current or older social morals? Or do you prefer to revolutionize and change everything? Make all new? The Z Axis, the Power of the State; humans need to live in social circles, and we organize by making organizations, we give them moral we call institutions, and the collective of all that with the most power we call State. So, how much power you want your state? All powerfull, that no one can compete against? Authoritarian and your versions... Now you do not want a State at all, my friend welcome to the Anarchist league.

Now the most interesting fact is that if a person cannot view it in the full view, only in 2 axis, so it means that he cannot see depth. If he can only see the X and Y axes, and started seeing their "Favourite Politician" getting more and more to the center, mostly of the times they are moving from the far to the center, but in reality they are moving to the Authoritarian region, and because of this movement in the Z Axis the XY table become smaller and smaller, and the views will start to stay more in the center.

In these times, we are entering into several crisis, making the word seem even a synonym for Brazil. To understand a little better why our country is the way it is today, we have to look to the past. Let's go back even before the Portuguese landed in Brazil, so I'll give you a summary and some facts. Portugal, the first country to form a state as we know it. And the king made an agreement with the pope to house the Knights Templar who were being imprisoned, thus forming, in 1319, the Order of Christ (whose symbol was the red and white cross). In this order we had various navigators, which became the new explorators for Portugal, and helped not only expand it's empire but also it's routes for trading, making Portugal a go to for specifics. These guys were good, they tend to befriend locals and merge with them than do what the Spanish did: kill them all and colonize the place. Of course, nothing is a sea of roses (brazilian expression, deal with it).
