Filibrary by The Next Layer - This tool from the Israeli Youtuber is good to help you understand different tyoes of filaments, how they behave printing, after printing, etc
3d Filament Profile - a huge database for profiles on specifics of materials by brands.
EasyPrint - Prusa took their Slicer, simplified it, putted many profiles from other brands printers, put in the server so would run in your browser. Bam! Browser based slicer, not in your computer? No problem!!
BumpMesh by CNC Kitchen - In the old days I would use the IdeaMaker slicer to insert a texture into the parts. Nowwith this tool from the German Youtuber you can do it on your browser easier.
Prime3D by 3D Revolution - I do not endorse colorful prints (except for education purposes), but if you need to paint the 3D model, this tool makes it easier.
Offline based tools:
Plasticity - I did not endorsed enough, great CAD for middle ground between Engineering and artistics!!
Meshmixer - I one of the best tools from the past for handling meshes with a easier interface. I will put a link to my proton drive so you can download the EXE, because Autodesk in its wisdom discontinued and intagrated into the mashpotatoes of the Fusion360. If you need to use on linux, don't worry it works pretty well with wine!
Meshroom - Really hard to learn! But very rewarding. It can help you digitalize the world using photogrametry (what I used for).
Meshlab - The best mesh fixing tool you can find! Kinda hard to be proficient.
